Some MAJOR WORKS are proposed at Rotary Gateway Park.

The draft master plan that summarised the key recommendations were available to be viewed until 28th October 2011. These were at the City of Greater Bendigo offices in Lyttleton Terrace or at the Bendigo and Kangaroo Flat Libraries.

Thank you to all who were able to contribute ideas, participate in a forum and formed part of a small committee to table issues and recommendations to the City of Greater Council regarding the Draft Master Plan.

A special thank you to Councillor Barry Lyons and Councillor James Read who were able to attend a meeting with representatives from the Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat where the club's compiled issues were tabled.

Thank you for your input!

50Metre Pool

At the Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat's recent Board meeting, board members present unanimously voted for a 50 metre pool option instead of a 25 metre pool. This outcome was then passed onto the City of Greater Bendigo.

50Metre Pool, Yes!!

The 50 metre pool option was passed at a council meeting.

The 2012 Easter Hole in One

Holeinone

During the 2012 Easter Weekend (6th - 9th April) our Club held its famous Annual Hole in One Competition.

We had one winner who attained a Hole in One and 'was travelling from Geelong to his Mum’s at Rushworth for Easter and struck it lucky' quoted our President Judy. The second chance draw was a local winner.

Great support also from our local CFA Volunteers and Camp Getaway helpers.

A great fundraiser that involves the local community.
